A lot of people are interested in the highest business usage period for tax purposes. That option is now available in the view tab. It will find a 12 week period with the highest business use percent.

Our datacenter had an network hardware failure in the early afternoon yesterday, for over an hour.

The Sidebuddy site was unreachable during that time.

No messages should have been lost.

They have replaced the faulty hardware and taken steps to prevent recurrence.

Our connection to the Telstra SMS network is currently down – since 11:36am Melbourne time.

Messages will be delayed.

We are contacting Telstra to find out what the problem may be.

If we can’t reconnect soon, we will connect to another location.

Our data center is currently performing some scheduled maintenance on one of the three redundant network connections.

The maintenance should be finished by 18:00 Melbourne time.

Hi folks

We had a problem with our SMS provider connection today and a couple of SMS’s were delayed by an hour or two.

I hope that hasn’t affected anyone too badly.

We added a new feature where you can download your logbook as a PDF file (rather than printing it).

Many people submit their logbook to their for reimbursement, and this makes that process a lot easier.

Just check your logbook, download as PDF, and send it to your boss for approval. Then wait for your paycheck with your reimbursement.

We added a new feature – Reimbursement Rate.

If you maintain a reimbursement rate (eg $0.66c per km) on your account page, Sidebuddy will calculate your reimbursement for you, from your business trips.

Great for those who get reimbursed from their employer rather than making a tax claim.
